During a working visit to the headquarters of the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (NESDA), the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Small Enterprises, Mr. Nourreddine Wadhih, praised the effective role played by the Agency in supporting young entrepreneurs and enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Minister was briefed on various programs and initiatives, notably the Impact70 program, and emphasized that entrepreneurship represents a national economic priority that requires integrated approaches and efforts to achieve sustainable development goals.

The meeting was attended by several officials and executives from both sectors, led by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economy and Knowledge, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Director-General of Agricultural Production and Fisheries, alongside directors of institutes and centers specializing in agricultural vocational training. On this occasion, a framework agreement was signed between NESDA and the Ministry of Agriculture. This agreement aims to instill an entrepreneurial culture within agricultural and maritime training institutions and to support trainees and graduates in realizing their projects through the creation of micro-enterprises that meet the requirements of sustainable development in Algeria. The agreement seeks to integrate entrepreneurial training paths within specialized institutes and schools by establishing spaces for support, training, and initiative. This will empower young people with the necessary skills to design and manage economic projects based on innovation, responding to the needs of the national market in the fields of agriculture and fisheries. Furthermore, the agreement provides for the expansion of the Entrepreneurship Development Centers (CDE) network to include institutions under the agriculture and fisheries sector. Previously focused primarily on universities, this step aims to generalize the culture of entrepreneurship across various training models and expand the circle of beneficiaries of the Agency's services. Through this initiative, NESDA reaffirms its commitment to its role as a key driver in the economic transition, providing real job opportunities for youth by supporting their projects from the idea stage through to establishment and expansion—particularly in strategic priority sectors such as agriculture, industry, and services. This agreement is part of a comprehensive vision adopted by the Agency to consolidate a culture of initiative among Algerian youth and to strengthen the position of micro-enterprises as a core component of the national economic fabric, thereby ensuring wealth creation and the realization of sustainable economic development.
