As part of the state's efforts to support sustainable development and diversify the national economy, the 26th edition of the International Handicraft Exhibition at the Moufdi Zakaria Cultural Palace saw the signing of a framework agreement between NESDA and the Directorate of Training at the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts. The agreement aims to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit among young artisans and value their skills, through an approach that involves establishing Entrepreneurship Development Centers within training institutions and encouraging the creation of small enterprises capable of integrating into the national economic fabric.
This strategic partnership aims to develop the entrepreneurial skills of graduates from training institutions under the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts. This will be achieved by establishing Entrepreneurship Development Centers (CDE) within these institutions to serve as incubators for ideas and projects, encouraging the creation of innovative and competitive micro-enterprises. The General Manager of the National Agency for Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (NESDA), Mr. Bilel Achaacha, emphasized that this agreement represents a qualitative step toward integrating an economic dimension into the vocational path of artisans. By empowering them with the necessary administrative and marketing skills, they can transform their creative works into successful business ventures. This initiative embodies the State's efforts to create a diversified economy based on the valuation of human resources and the promotion of innovation. It opens promising horizons for youth in the handicrafts and traditional trades sector.
