The National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (NASDA) participated in the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) in Algiers from September 4 to 10, 2025, under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with a large attendance of heads of state and economic officials. The participation served as a strategic opportunity to showcase the role of the agency in support, training, and financing, through a dedicated pavilion that attracted significant attention. It featured 5 small enterprises funded by NESDA, operating in vital sectors, reflecting the diversity of Algeria’s entrepreneurial landscape and its ability to penetrate African markets.
The National Agency for Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (NESDA), under the tutelage of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises, maintained a prominent presence at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025). Hosted in Algiers from September 4 to 10 under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the event served as a strategic opportunity to showcase the Agency's role in training, support, and financing, while highlighting its achievements in supporting micro-enterprises and opening new avenues for cooperation with African partners. The NESDA pavilion, located at Pavilion Ahaggar – Annex C1, attracted significant interest from various segments of youth, particularly university and vocational training graduates, as well as entrepreneurs seeking to expand and diversify their activities. NESDA was represented by five micro-enterprises funded by the Agency, operating in vital sectors such as the food industry, essential oils production, machinery manufacturing, and medical test kit production. This participation reflects the diversity of the Algerian entrepreneurial fabric and its capacity to compete in African markets. The pavilion received visits from over 153 micro-enterprises, 17 of which held bilateral business meetings (B2B) with partners from various countries—a practical step toward strengthening economic cooperation bridges. The Agency’s presence was further distinguished by its participation in panel discussions and intellectual sessions with experts and entrepreneurs from across the continent, transforming the pavilion into an open space for exchanging expertise and enhancing the role of youth in project development. Through this participation, NESDA reaffirmed its position as a pivotal player in the continental economic dynamics, consolidating Algeria’s status as a rising economic hub and an attractive environment for entrepreneurial initiatives.
