As part of its ongoing commitment to support sustainable economic development and enhance entrepreneurial mobility across the various provinces of the country, the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (NESDA) organized a distinguished regional meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in El Oued, specifically for the southeastern provinces, under the high patronage of the Governor of the province. This meeting is part of a series of regional events overseen by the agency, as part of the implementation of its national program #Impact70, which aims to promote local development and stimulate productive investment in line with the specificities of each region.
The Regional Forum for the Southeastern Provinces of the National Agency for Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (NESDA) was organized under the supervision of the General Manager, Mr. Bilel Achaacha, and under the high patronage of Mr. Larbi Bahloul, the Wali (Governor) of El Oued. The event was attended by executives and representatives from the provincial agencies of El Oued, Ouargla, Illizi, Laghouat, Biskra, and Ghardaïa. The activities of this meeting were hosted by the province of El Oued, which is considered a premier agricultural and economic hub. With its abundant natural and human resources, it serves as a strategic pillar for achieving food security and a driver for sustainable development across the Great South. The forum provided a professional space to exchange experiences and share visions regarding support mechanisms for young project holders. It also focused on ways to enhance the Agency’s local effectiveness through concrete initiatives that take into account the specificities and realistic development needs of each province. This event is a field-based embodiment of the #Impact70 program, through which NESDA seeks to empower local talent and transform latent potential into economic projects with a tangible impact on society. This is achieved by creating a stimulating environment for entrepreneurial initiatives and encouraging project owners in strategic regions. The forum featured technical and strategic presentations where Agency executives reviewed the most prominent newly introduced services and innovative programs. These programs were developed to facilitate the process of creating and expanding micro-enterprises, with a focus on mentorship, training, digitalization, and incentives to boost the efficiency of the Agency’s local performance. At the conclusion of the forum, participants stressed the importance of establishing these regional meetings as platforms for evaluation, coordination, and continuous development. They emphasized their role in unifying the vision and raising the efficiency of local branches within an integrated national framework that keeps pace with the economic and social transformations occurring in Algeria.
