On Thursday, April 9, 2026, the National Entrepreneurship Support and Development Agency (NESDA) signed a partnership agreement with the Algerian Higher School of Business (ESAA). The signing took place at the school's headquarters in Algiers, on the sidelines of a forum themed : « Entrepreneurship and Innovation : Drivers for a More Competitive Business Environment ». The event was held under the supervision of Ms. Amel Abdellatif, Minister of Internal Trade and National Market Regulation, alongside Mr. Noureddine Ouaddah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises. This initiative aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among graduates and support them in transforming their innovative ideas into tangible economic projects. This agreement aims to establish a strategic cooperation framework between the two institutions, focusing on enhancing the capacities of students and graduates in creating and managing micro-enterprises. This contributes to supporting the national economy while encouraging innovation and a spirit of initiative among young people. This cooperation focuses on several main axes, primarily : • Organizing training programs and practical workshops in the fields of entrepreneurship, strategy, finance, marketing, and digitalization. • Mentoring students with ideas and projects, from the initial concept stage through to the establishment of their micro-enterprises. • Establishing a « one-stop shop » for entrepreneurship within the School to facilitate the provision of administrative and advisory services for students and graduates. • Enabling project holders to benefit from the Agency’s digital platforms—such as « Small Business Hub » and « AL TAWTEEN » — to connect them with economic value chains and institutional partners. On this occasion, the General Manager of the NESDA agency, Mr. Bilal Achacha, stated : « This agreement embodies our vision aimed at building a comprehensive national ecosystem to support entrepreneurship, based on effectively linking academic institutions with their economic environment. Supporting the graduates of the Algerian Higher School of Business represents a strategic step toward empowering young talents to transform their ideas into economic projects. At the NESDA agency, we believe that investing in human capital is the foundation of sustainable development. Through this partnership, we seek to provide an enabling environment that combines training, mentorship, and funding, thereby enhancing the success rates of micro-enterprises and contributing to the creation of true economic dynamism. We also aspire for this experience to serve as a model to be emulated in fostering cooperation between academic institutions and support agencies, in a way that serves the aspirations of the youth and keeps pace with the economic transformations currently taking place in our country. » For her part, the General Manager of the Algerian Higher School of Business (ESAA), Ms. Linda Benhadja, praised this partnership, considering it a qualitative step toward strengthening the bridges of cooperation between the academic and economic worlds, and supporting students in bringing their entrepreneurial projects to life. This agreement embodies a shared will between the two institutions to establish a comprehensive ecosystem for supporting entrepreneurship, encouraging innovation, and fostering a spirit of initiative among the school’s graduates.
